This home is split into 2 units and can be rented separately or together. Unit A is the main house and sleeps 8. Unit B is the attached in-law apartment and sleeps 4.
Neighborhood description
New Harbor is considered the “more peaceful” section of Block Island. It’s attractive to locals and tourists alike. There are several restaurants and popular bars to keep you entertained while avoiding the crowds in the center of town. During peak season, the popular farmer’s market is located once a week right across the street. While Block Island offers the best beaches in the northeast, Champlain’s resort pool is a 5-minute walk away. The house is also next to the Island’s only park with a playground, tennis courts, basketball court and skate park.
Getting around
Free parking is available. Walking and bike riding are popular modes of transportation. They are available for rent nearby along with mopeds and rental cars. Taxi service is also available. A summer shuttle can transport guests from Champlain’s marina to Aldo’s Restaurant in town.
