Spend Your Vacation with Grandeur

Rooms at Payne’s Harbor View Inn on Block Island feature water views, private decks, antique furnishings and whirlpool baths. You may also choose to stay in one of our spacious one-room suites equipped with in-room jacuzzis. No other room on Block Island can compare to the luxury.
Each of our 10 rooms is unique and has been carefully decorated with our guests in mind. They are noted as being among the most spacious and clean on Block Island. Whether you are visiting with your family or friends, our inn is the perfect place for you to stay. We happily welcome children over the age of 12.

  Room 1

  This room features a king size bed which can be split into two twin beds. Please let us know if advance.  There is also a ceiling fan and handicap accessible bathroom.  A portable bed can be added to accommodate a 3rd guest for an extra fee.  Air conditioning is provided mid June-mid September.

  This room features a beautiful king size, canopy bed and a pull out sofa.  The couch sleeps to small adults comfortably. A private balcony overlooks New Harbor and the ocean beyond.  There is a whirlpool bathtub, ceiling fan and air conditioning mid June-mid September.

  Room 3

  A four-poster bed brings character to this beautiful room. Enjoy the view from your own balcony, or relax in your whirlpool tub.  There is a pull-out love seat to accommodate a 3rd guest for an extra fee. This room is equipped with a ceiling fan and air conditioning mid June-mid September.

  Enjoy the harbor view from your balcony in this popular room. It features a king size bed, ceiling fan, and whirlpool tub.  There is also a pull-out love seat to accommodate a 3rd guest for an extra fee.  Air conditioning is provided mid June-Mid September.

  This room features a king size bed which can be divided into two twin beds… please let us know before arrival. A pull-out love seat can accommodate a 3rd guest for a fee.   This room features a queen bed, ceiling fan, whirlpool tub and air conditioning during peak season.  This room also has a view of the harbor.

  A queen size bed, ceiling fan and whirlpool tub make this room a cozy choice. It is also equipped with air conditioning during peak season when it is warm.

  This huge suite is possibly the largest room on the island. It has a king size bed, harbor view, in-room jacuzzi, ceiling fan, and small refrigerator. Air conditioning is provided mid June- mid September. There are several windows to allow for that fresh ocean air.   Room 10

  This is our most elaborate room. It features a king size bed, private balcony, 3-way dressing mirror (perfect for brides), an in-room jacuzzi and a mini refrigerator.  Air conditioning is provided mid June- mid September. A ceiling fan, stand up fan, and many windows allow for that fresh ocean air.  This room can accommodate up to 2 additional guests on portable beds for an extra fee.

  
  
  

Home Away from Home

Our waterfront inn comes with great service by our staff to help you relax and have fun. We offer a complimentary continental breakfast every morning. Our large decks are perfect for lounging, sharing a snack or a bottle of wine as you take in the sunset and the view of Great Salt Pond and
Block Island Sound.

For your convenience we provide beach chairs and towels. There is a luggage closet for your use before and after you check-out, so you can make the most of your vacation. We also offer kayak rentals at a reduced rate for our guests.
